    Mark has been a certifed Crop Advisor since 1995 and has 43 years in the agricultural industry from his time in Grain Elevation, Running his own company founded in 2001. He is currently farming 67 acres using no-till, cover-crops, diversified crops, and is looking to introduce animals to graze his cover crops.

    Mark started to look into soil health which led him to cover cropping 5 years ago and has been trying to educate himself, his team, and his growers on the benefits of regenerative farming and soil health. One of his growers from the Rochester, MN area has drastically changed his plot with no-till practices and rye-on-wheat cover cropping and has seen a positive change already in the 2nd year.

    John became a mentor because he has a passion for farming and working with other farmers to create a legacy farm. He has 43 years of experience in watching and collaborating with all sizes of growers from small to large. He excels at working with growers from where they’re at and provides his lived expertise to help them accomplish their goals.
