Persisting in Farming: Facing Today’s Ag Challenges

Please join the Hawk Creek Watershed Project, in partnership with the Renville County Soil and Water Conservation District, to hear keynote speaker Al Kluis’s presentation “Positioning for Profit in 2020” at our Persisting in Farming: Facing Today’s Ag Challenges meeting on Thursday, December 12 in Renville.  The meeting will also feature Gary Wertish, Minnesota Farmers Union president, and Bob Roelofs, Vernon Center farmer and Minnesota Farm Bureau District II Board of Directors, discussing ag issues and challenges facing family farms.  Harlan Madsen, Kandiyohi County farmer and County Commissioner, will tell his story of managing farm stress in difficult times.  Please remember to RSVP by Friday, December 6th.  Free lunch to those who RSVP’d by December 6th.
