Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship is hosting another in its series of pasture walks from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tues., Oct. 22, at Springside Farm, 12620 Deer Rd, Canton.

This walk is co-sponsored with Great River Graziers and Kickapoo Grazing Initiative. Discussion will include evaluating grazing and pastures for fall and planning for spring, as well as considerations for karst geology and water quality in the Driftless region. Paddock viewing and farmer discussion will ensue.

Other grazers or anyone interested in dairy farming and/or grazing are welcome.
