Cider apple field day July 9

FreeFor those interested in growing cider apples, making hard cider and/or selling apples to cideries, we have a field day coming up on Friday, July 9 from 1-4pm at Milk & Honey Ciders. It will be a fun time, and cider sampling will be included. We’re touring the orchard to compare performance of 12 English varieties on 2 rootstocks, then sampling ciders made from ~10 individual UMN varieties. This is also an opportunity to network with cider makers about what they’re looking for and how to sell to cideries.

Even if you can’t come right at the beginning, we will be there for 3 hours with signs next to each variety/roostock combo, so if you miss the beginning you can still look around and get in on the sampling.
