Dr. Wyant will discuss the importance and utility of two up-and-coming measures of soil health: active carbon and soil protein. He will break down a soil report and discuss field carbon management at length. Dr. Wyant will examine best management practices for sampling and describe which field management practices can have the biggest impact on active carbon and soil protein.
