Mark Gutierrez is the Executive Director for the Minnesota Soil Health Coalition. Mark is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in Agriculture. He grew up working on a hay farm and a bait shop raising poultry. He was an active member in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA). Mark graduated from New Mexico State University with a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics. He has served as the Co-Chair for the Minnesota Federal Executive Board Diversity and Inclusion Council. Mark previously worked for the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service and as Deputy Director for the RMA crop insurance program. He is excited to bring his experience to the soil health field and work with farmers to improve best practices for soil health in Minnesota.
