On April 23rd, Sustainable Farming Association is heading out to the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge for a free, full-day Energized Fence Training & Silvopasture Workshop/Tour, 8:30-4:00 PM. The day is designed for those interested in oak savanna restoration, silvopasture, adaptive or conservation grazing, and semi-permanent fence designs for grazing management.
Participants will enjoy two 3-hour sessions, one session of fencing training with Kent Solberg and Doug Voss of SFA, and one Silvopasture Workshop & Tour session with Tyler Carlson (SFA), Gary Wyatt and Jeff Jackson (U of MN Extension) and Austin Yantes (University of Minnesota).
